Seduce Group acknowledges and will uphold the National Privacy Principles in the Privacy Amendment (Private Sector) Act 2000 where applicable to the functions and activities of Seduce Group.
Defined words and interpretation aids contained in the User Conditions have the same meaning here.
Seduce Group states its Privacy Statement as follows:
1.0 COLLECTION
1.1 Seduce Group only collects and stores information necessary to its business activities, including the Seduce Black Members program.
1.2 Seduce Group will only use the information provided from its Seduce Black Members, customers and participants in any promotions or campaigns from time to time for its business records and business activities.
1.3 Seduce Group will not of its own initiative gather or store any information on any Seduce Black Members or on any customers or on any participants in any of its promotions or campaigns from time to time, other than from the information provided by the member, customer or participant and as may be updated from time to time by the member, customer or participant concerned.
2.0 USE AND DISCLOSURE
2.1 Seduce Group will not use or disclose personal information about an individual for a purpose other than the purpose for which Seduce Group has disclosed to you.
2.2 Seduce Group will not disclose any information provided by any member, customer or participant in any of its promotion or campaigns from time to time, except as authorised, and only then strictly in accordance with the stated functions and activities of Seduce Group for which the member, customer or participant of the promotion or campaign has provided his/her personal information.
2.3 Clause 2.2 does not apply where Seduce Group reasonably believes the use or disclosure of your personal information other than for the stated functions and activities of Seduce Group is necessary to lessen or prevent a serious and imminent threat to an individual’s life, health or safety; or a serious threat to public health or public safety.
2.4 Seduce Group may also use and disclose your personal information, where:
2.4.1 Seduce Group has reason to suspect that unlawful activity has been, is being or may be engaged in, and uses or discloses the personal information as a necessary part of its investigations of the matter or in reporting its concerns to relevant persons or authorities; or
2.4.2 the use or disclosure is required or authorised by law or under law; or
2.4.3 Seduce Group reasonably believes that the use or disclosure is reasonably necessary for one or more of the following by or on behalf of an enforcement body:
(i) the prevention, detection, investigation, prosecution or punishment of criminal offences, breaches of a law imposing a penalty or sanction or breaches of any domestic or personal violence or stalking or harassment;
(ii) the enforcement of laws relating to the confiscation of the proceeds of crime;
(iii) the protection of the public revenue;
(iv) the prevention, detection, investigation or remedying of a seriously improper conduct or domestic or personal violence or stalking or harassment conduct; or
(v) the preparation for, or conduct of, proceedings before any court or tribunal, or implementation of the orders of a court or tribunal.
3.0 DATA QUALITY AND SECURITY
3.1 Seduce Group will take all reasonable steps to ensure that personal information it holds are held securely.
3.2 Seduce Group upholds principles for fair handling of the information that are substantially similar to the National Privacy
Principles. Seduce Group will exercise vigilance to review from time to time to ensure its storage remains secure.
4.1 You may at any time and from time to time request Seduce Group to disclose to you personally the information that Seduce Group has collected from you.
4.2 Your request to Seduce Group may be communicated via email to Seduce Group, via the email link at its website www.seduce.com.au
5.0 ACCESS AND CORRECTION
5.1 Seduce Group will not collect any information on you other than from the information provided by you. You can at any time, alter any information stored on you via contacting us on 02 517 8888.v
5.2 If you are a SEDUCEBLACK member, you can update your details by going to www.seduce.com.au/seduceblack and entering your membership number and password.
